Denver City Government Closed Monday, March 30 for Cesar Chavez Day!
Most City and County of Denver’s offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, March 30 in observance of the Cesar Chavez Day holiday and/or due to COVID-19. Critical emergency functions and operations will remain in place on Monday in support of Denver’s COVID-19 response, including enforcement of the Stay at Home Order.

“Stay at Home” Denver – March 23, 2020 – A Public Health Order is in effect in Denver. This includes a “stay at home” directive for the entire city that will last from March 24 – April 11. Essential activities needed for health and safety are exempt.

As part of the citywide effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Denver Department of Excise and Licenses Office is currently closed to the public. Excise and Licenses is requesting all license applications not available online to be submitted via email during this health crisis.
