Airbnb loan startup quietly expands to Denver, with different tack

Loftium, which launched in 2017, says on its website that it provides homebuyers up to $50,000 to be used as a down payment. In exchange, the homebuyers agree to list a spare bedroom on Airbnb for one to three years. Loftium then keeps 60 to 90 percent of the Airbnb income.

RFQ: NWC Maintenance and Operations Facility CM/GC

The City and County of Denver (City) is soliciting Requests for Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Construction Management/General Contracting services to renovate a portion of the building at 5125 Race Court to become the Maintenance and Operations Facility for the National Western Center. The selected contractor will be providing preconstruction and construction services to support the renovation, transforming this existing facility into maintenance shops, fleet maintenance bays, offices, command center, indoor and outdoor storage for equipment, fixtures, and bulk products, Cattle Tie areas during annual Stock Shows, and parking.

Horns blast as RTD ramps up final stages of suburban G Line

It's not your imagination. Residents along the G Line in northwest Denver and the city's northwestern suburbs are hearing more train horns as RTD ramps up testing the commuter train line that will carry passengers 11 miles from Denver to Wheat Ridge, according to the transportation agency.

Volunteers Needed for Graffiti Brush Off and Litter Clean-Up
